Woven, never printed
Damask, paisley and brushstroke are built into the cloth on a jacquard loom, thread by thread. There is no surface layer to crack, fade or wash away — which is why a woven pattern outlives a printed one several times over.

Made for this climate
Most of India does not need a duvet for nine months of the year. We weave six-layer cotton gauze and silk-touch Tencel for the warm months, and keep the heavy coverlets for the three cold ones.

Small runs, narrow palette
Every piece is woven a few hundred at a time. When a colourway goes, we usually let it go rather than re-cut it — which is how the whole range stays this quiet.
